The Preston Twinning Committee Almelo was very sad to hear that Mrs. Ruth Archer had passed away.
We have known her as an appreciated member of the Preston Twinning Partnership in our Twintown in Lancashire England.
She represented Recklinghausen in Germany, but was also very interested in matters concerning the other twintowns.
In Almelo she was always present, at least for the last 25 years, when we celebrated our jubilees or very important exchanges.
Ruth, we thank you very much for all you havedone for this very long time and we hope that you may rest in peace.
